OUR MISSION

At Randolph Lundine, we’re passionate about the craft of writing, and equally so about the craft of editing.

Have your work edited by experienced writers, publishers, and writing teachers.

The road to a final, polished manuscript can be long and arduous. We have the experience to help you on your journey. Unlike many editorial services, we approach manuscripts with both an editor’s and a writer’s eye.

With decades of experience in publishing, teaching, and writing, the editors at Randolph Lundine approach each project with a critical and professional sensibility.

The first step to take if you are interested in working with us is to complete our query form. We’ll ask you to share a little about yourself and your project. One of our editors will reach out to you once we receive your query.

We work on all genres of writing, excluding poetry. Our specialties are: creative and narrative nonfiction; fiction; memoir; scholarly works; and general nonfiction.

We offer developmental editing. We focus on the big picture in your work: overall structure, tone, narrative flow, and clarity. We help you hone your language, assess what works, what doesn’t, and offer suggestions so you can take the next steps with your manuscript.

  • “Randolph Lundine is a major development in the publishing landscape. They're good for books.”

    Derek Krissof, Editor and Publisher

  • “Heather Lundine's developmental edits were invaluable to helping me transform a hot mess of a manuscript, from years of research, into a readable, publishable, and marketable biography. Heather’s clear, specific, and actionable suggestions threw a lifeline to this grateful first time author.”

    Marlene Trestman

Author of Fair Labor Lawyer: The Remarkable Life of New Deal Attorney and Supreme Court Advocate Bessie Margolin

  • “One of the best pieces of advice Sherrie Flick gave me was to get my protagonists to talk more. Like many new writers, I crafted ‘silent, observant’ characters. Thanks to Sherrie, now my characters have a lot to say, which makes them much more interesting to write about, and hopefully read about!”

    Milena Nigam, Writer and Editor

  • “The first-rate team at Randolph Lundine has the emotional, intellectual, and literary intelligence to help writers garner the attention they deserve. They can help you bring your words into the world.”

Sue William Silverman, award-winning author of seven books, including How to Survive Death and Other Inconveniences and Love Sick: One Woman’s Journey through Sexual Addiction

  • Ladette Randoph, brilliant writer, reader, and thinker, sees it, gets it, hones in every time on what will make the work better and more alive.”
